Status Cycle & Activity

Hytale DiscordSync keeps your Discord bot presence alive and dynamic with an automatic, rotating status activity cycle.

How the Status Cycle Works

The plugin runs a background scheduled executor that updates the bot's Discord activity at fixed intervals:

  • Cycles through an array of customizable status strings.
  • Replaces dynamic placeholders (like %online%) with the real-time count of connected players on the Hytale server.
  • Uses Discord's native Activity.playing(text) presence.

Options

  • statusMessages: A list of status strings that the bot will cycle through in order.
  • statusInterval: The time in seconds between each status change (default: 10 seconds).
  • %online%: Dynamically replaced with the current count of online players.
